The week flew by!!! I worked in the hospital this week with patients this week, painted landscape for them. I sat with some patients who have been staying in the hospital for a long time. I ask them where they love to go the makes them feel better. I get to sit with them, listen, and execute paintings in watercolor and give it to them. I love the work! It is sacred. I will write more about this later.
Otherwise, I have done some figure drawing and new paintings done for my open house. I will post that information in my next write in.
Below are 2 paintings I gave to the AVA art show which opens Nov. 27 and is open through out the month of December.
The first one is called Winter Light and is a watercolor framed in a Vermont Cherry wood frame with a white mat. The outside frame measurement is 12′ x 16 and the artwork itself is about 8″ x 12″. The cost of this one is $215.

The next painting is called White Orchid. It measures 18″ x 24″, is framed in a glod wood, and is being sold for $400.

Well, Here I am finally learning how to do this. Eric the guy, my husband, who I love, got me started with this last March 17. You may or may not wonder what happened in between that time… Well we had a fire!!!!
Oh yes, Inconveniently blessed to have lived through that one and lucky to only have lost our water and flooring with still 2 feet of snow in the ground. Lived in the Residence Inn for a month, and came back home as soon as the water was reconnected. Thank God for insurance. It was heat tape wrapped around pipes under our floor that caught on fire. Lesson there is check the heat tape after 8 years, not 10 like ours. Who knew???? We didn’t, and now we do and so do you.
Anyway, I am trying to get an upper hand on this technology to post my art work and the creative process. More to come later.
