Tip Top Art Camp
July 21-25 2008

Drop your kids off at 9am, they'll spend half the day with our experienced, knowledgeable staff learning pottery techniques, beading, and crafts.

After a lunch break, where we'll all play outside (weather permitting) then it's upstairs to Rebecca Gottesman's studio, where they'll learn painting and drawing techniques, both indoors and outdoors The day ends at 3pm.

All materials, studio fees and firing costs incl uded. Please bring a snack, bag lunch and chan ge of clothes, as things will get MESSY!

Norwich Recreation -- SUMMERTIME ART FUN
Monday, July 28th – Friday, August 1st

For students entering grades 4 - 6

Aspiring young artists will have fun learning while playing with color and expression. Artwork will be made looking to nature for inspiration, with some painting being done outside. Varied works will be created with color dyes to produce original tie dyes and batik.

Artists should dress to allow putting themselves into their work (potentially getting dirty).

Materials are provided/included Please bring a drink and snack.

Held in the Marion Cross School Art Room Monday, July 28th – Friday, August 1st 9am – Noon FEE: $135;

Non-residents: $150 Min # 8; Max # 15

Instructor: We are thrilled to have artist/teacher, Rebecca Gottesman (649-2558) teaching a summer session for us this year. Rebecca is an Upper Valley artist who has lived and painted in our community for over twenty years while raising her family. She has a studio in the Tip Top Building-White River Jct, VT. She has taught all ages and believes in giving children the opportunity to experience and explore new artistic horizons. Sarah Healy will be assisting with the class.
